Wet BlueWe obtain Wet Blue after the tanning of
raw skin is completed in the Tannery. In this process, we convert a raw skin
into a more stable material, which is suitable for a wide variety of end
applications. We use Chromium as a tanning material because it has more stable
molecules and the leather tends to be softer in this process. Once the leather
is tanned, it leaves the leather with a pale blue color. Hence the name – “WET
BLUE”.
